An innovative technology
Alpinov X is developing a patented technology based on the cycle of water, evaporation and condensation under a multiple stage vacuum environment. One of the dedicated applications will be used to produce snow.
Our company is finalizing its snow machine, SNOW X, with revolutionary specificities :
– Non weather-dependency allowing snow production even with positive temperatures,
– 3 to 6 times less energy consuming than existing non weather-dependant snow machine,
– No water loss : 100% of the water intakes are turned into snow, which represents a water saving of 40% compared to conventional snowguns.
A breaking innovation that allows SNOW X to deliver outstanding performances
Goals
Alpinov X has developed a breakthrough innovation designed to generate cold. One of its uses is adapted to snowmaking market.
The first product deployed by the company, Snow X, aims more specifically mountain resorts, and aims to consolidate their business model by sustaining their “snow activities”.
Thanks to Snow X’s technological developments, ski area managers will have a product that offers great operational flexibility, an operating cost that is inferior or equal to conventional snowmaking techniques, and a better overall total cost of ownership.
Prospects
For ski resort operators, the SNOW X solution will give them the opportunity to:
- produce snow continuously before the season and be able to ensure the opening of key areas of the ski resort (initiation trails, ski-in ski-out, slalom stadiums …) from the very beginning of the season,
- control the electrical consumption, since unlike traditional snow cannons, SNOW X does not involve calls for significant loads on the network,
- reduce the water stress of the ecosystem throughout the production phase, while sustainably harvesting water resources,
- extend the operating hours of ski resorts, whether they are Alpine or Nordic ones.
